About
Brahms’ Ein deutsches Requiem sets German biblical passages rather than the Latin Mass. Simone Young conducts the Philharmonia Orchestra and Philharmonia Chorus, following a first half devoted to Richard Strauss: the Moonlight Music from Capriccio and the songs Das Rosenband, Ständchen, Freundliche Vision, Wiegenlied, Allerseelen and Zueignung.
