Asha Puthli: The Cosmic Voyager

A rare UK concert from the Mumbai-born singer Asha Puthli, whose blend of avant-garde jazz, Indian raga and operatic training helped define cosmic disco. She revisits a catalogue that runs from her work with Ornette Coleman on Science Fiction to collaborations with Gorillaz, joined by her band and the guests Anoushka Shankar, Yazz Ahmed and Sarathy Korwar.
