Coltrane 100: Lovano, Aldana, Makhathini, Oh, Watts

A collective tribute marking a century since John Coltrane's birth, with Joe Lovano and Melissa Aldana on saxophones, Nduduzo Makhathini on piano, Linda May Han Oh on bass and Jeff 'Tain' Watts on drums. Drawing players from different generations and traditions, the group uses Coltrane's compositions as a springboard, aiming to create in his spirit rather than recreate his work.
