About
The Guildhall Symphony Orchestra is conducted by Eivind Gullberg Jensen and Antoine Veillerette. Hannah Kendall's The Spark Catchers, inspired by a poem about the 1888 Bow Matchgirls' Strike, opens the programme, followed by Shostakovich's Piano Concerto No 2 with the pianist Ryan Sheng and Sibelius's Symphony No 1.
