Jalen Baker Quartet

The Jalen Baker Quartet celebrate the release of their new album RePaved, a deeply reflective suite inspired by the history and cultural legacy of Jalen's hometown Houston, Texas’s 3rd, 4th and 5th Wards. Through the music, Baker explores landmark figures and places such as John Henry Yates, Freedman’s Town and Juneteenth, tracing the enduring impact of these communities on the city’s social and cultural identity.
