A late-evening set from a Paris-based, French-Iranian percussionist and composer, chosen by drummer Sarathy Korwar. He plays the tombak, a traditional Persian goblet drum, and transforms its sound live through a modular synthesiser, blending acoustic and electronic music. Part of the EFG London Jazz Festival.
