Christophe Rousset leads Les Talens Lyriques and the Namur Chamber Choir in the 1757 revision of Rameau's Hippolyte et Aricie. His first opera caused a furore in 1733 with its bold harmonies and innovative orchestration, and it tells of Queen Phèdre's love for her stepson Hippolyte, who loves Aricie.
