Lost in the Elements

Cellist Carlotta Rall, pianist Johanna Dietz and soprano-pianist Rachel Fenlon explore landscape, memory and humanity's bond with the natural world in a programme of contemporary and twentieth-century music for cello, piano and voice. Works include Hannah Peel's Midwinter Break, Natalie Holt's Partita No. 1 for solo cello, Caterina Schembri's A birch forest seen, imagined, and remembered and Doreen Carwithen's Sonatina for Cello and Piano, alongside music by Maxwell Harrison Ratzky, including a new work, and Lera Auerbach.
