Mingus Big Band

The Grammy-winning band performs the music of Charles Mingus, the bassist and composer behind some of jazz’s most celebrated works. Founded by his widow, Sue Mingus, the 14-piece ensemble plays pieces such as “Goodbye Pork Pie Hat”, “Moanin’” and “Better Git It in Your Soul”.
