A free exhibition exploring the creation of the Bank of England’s iconic Threadneedle Street headquarters. Follow the story of a vast rebuilding project that began in 1925, when the original John Soane building was no longer fit for purpose, and see how architect Herbert Baker worked with artists and craftspeople over the next 15 years to create the richly detailed site we know today.
