Rhythms of the Divine: Mevlevi Sema Ceremony and Turkish Sufi Music Concert

The Konya Metropolitan Municipality Turkish Sufi Music and Sema Ensemble brings the centuries-old Mevlevi tradition, rooted in the legacy of Rumi, to London. The evening opens with a concert of traditional Turkish Sufi music, followed by the Sema Ceremony of the whirling semazens, which UNESCO recognises as Intangible Cultural Heritage.
