Ronnie Scott's Classical All Stars: The Art of Song

A programme of song that crosses classical and jazz: operatic arias, Schubert songs in new string arrangements, Rachmaninov, Hahn, and “My Reverie”, the 1930s song adapted from Debussy. It ends with selections from Gershwin’s Porgy and Bess in both operatic and jazz styles. A pianist, a string trio and three singers perform, with duets and trios.
