Royal Philharmonic Orchestra: Brahms 1

An orchestral programme ending with Brahms’ First Symphony, which took him more than 20 years to complete. It opens with Debussy’s dreamy Prélude à l’après-midi d’un faune, followed by the world premiere of Laurence Osborn’s nocturne for cello and orchestra, Sun Sundered Head.
