Simone Leigh

The New York-based sculptor takes over the Main Galleries of the RA in her first major UK exhibition. Bringing together bronze and ceramic sculpture with film in large-scale installations, she will create monumental new works for this exhibition. Drawing on African cultures and their diasporas, the artist's practice centres the histories and experiences of black women.
