The Rise and Fall of Little Voice by Jim Cartwright

Shut away in her bedroom, a painfully shy young woman channels her late father's record collection, from Judy Garland to Billie Holiday, in pitch-perfect impressions. But when her brassy mother Mari's new fella, small-time showbiz hustler Ray Say, hears her sing, he smells money. Francesca Mills (Silent Witness), Jill Halfpenny and Paul Chuckle star in Robert Hastie's new production of Cartwright's bittersweet comedy.
