Tony Kofi & Denys Baptiste Quintet - Legacy: Cannonball & Coltrane

Two of Britain’s leading saxophonists revisit the 1959 Chicago session by Cannonball Adderley and John Coltrane. The pair were both in Miles Davis’ band at the time of Kind of Blue. Expect “Limehouse Blues”, “Stars Fell on Alabama” and “Grand Central”, with Rick Simpson (piano), Mikele Montolli (bass) and Alfonso Vitale (drums).
