Tove Jansson and her Families

The family, friends and lovers who shaped the Finnish author-illustrator Tove Jansson are the thread of the first exhibition to focus on her solely as an illustrator. More than 100 rarely shown sketches, paintings, illustrations and photographs include previously unseen drawings and material tracing the origins of the Moomins. Her satirical work for Garm and her public murals also feature, one of which is shown in the UK for the first time.
