Where We Grow: nature, nurture & childhood

The relationship between childhood, care and the natural world is traced from the Foundling Hospital’s 18th-century grounds to the gardens, playgrounds and green spaces of today. Archival material and historic objects sit alongside contemporary art and photography by Joy Gregory, Andy Holden, Jade de Montserrat, Mark Neville, Quentin Blake, Larry Achiampong and others. The show asks how nature offers freedom and belonging, and what happens when access to it is unequal.
